At the midpoint of the semester, all first year students participated in the UK Theme Day during their Integrated English class. This day focused on various aspects of the UK and mostly England, led by British-born Associate Professor Paul Moritoshi. The day’s activities included a game of musical chairs and a trivia quiz about culture, history and geography of the region, where the winners won cups of ice cream. Students enjoyed the day along with receiving some traditional snacks and English tea prepared by Dr. Moritoshi.

後期も中間の折り返しを迎えところで、一年生はインテグレーティッド・イングリッシュの授業の一環として「ユナイテッド・キングダム日」という活動に参加しました。この日、英国出身のポール・モリトシ先生が英国のさまざまな視点から、椅子取りゲームや各地域の文化、歴史、地理に関するクイズを準備し、そのゲームに勝った学生、クイズに解答できた学生はアイスクリームがもらえました。また、学生たちは先生が用意した伝統的なお菓子とお茶をいただくなど、楽しい一日となりました。
